Christian J. Feldbacher-Escamilla

I am a faculty member (Akademischer Rat) of the department of philosophy of the University of Cologne, Germany. I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Düsseldorf. My area of expertise is within epistemology and the philosophy of science, where I am particularly interested in problems of social epistemology, machine learning, and inductive as well as abductive inference. My area of competence covers the theory of definition, logic and argumentation, and history of analytic philosophy. I am editor-in-chief of KRITERION — Journal of Philosophy, managing director of the German Society for Analytic Philosophy (GAP), and PI of the DFG-funded project Rudolf Carnap, the Problem of Induction, and the Choice of Scientific Frameworks.
